You can move mountains just by getting down on your knees and communicating with the Lord.
This season, we are focusing on "leveling up". We want to use what we've learned in the past to equip us for the rest of the journey ahead. We want to become better versions of ourselves and walk in our purpose.
The key to "leveling up" is not about the clothes you wear or your presence on social media. The world tells you that being successful or purposeful is all about outward appearances and material possessions. Real elevation begins in hiddenness. Everything starts with the prayers that are between you and your God. Prayer is communication. Communication is key. Without an open, direct line of communication between you and your Maker, you will remain lost at sea; a wave tossed to and fro with no direction and no end goal.
In order to level up, there needs to be a clear line of direction laid down for you. Or else, you'll end up going around in circles, never really making any progress. Going to God and aligning your vision with His is a crucial factor in making sure you are on the right path.
Furthermore, let's not forget the fact that it is possible for someone to be pretty on the outside and ugly on the inside. At the end of the day, these kind of people don't have much to offer us and we eventually choose to separate ourselves from them. They drive people away with the negativity they exude. People with lovely hearts, though, are the ones that inspire us, edify us, and beautify our lives. These are the kind of people we should not only surround ourselves with, but should aspire to become, as well. As we pray and draw nearer to Christ, we become more like Him. Our hearts, mindsets, and spirits are transformed. Our situation and things beyond our control are ordained by God as He begins to open doors of blessings and cut you off from sources of setback.
Listen, honey. Allow me to be as frank as possible. The spiritual realm rules over the physical. So, if you want your outward life to reflect the goodness of God, your prayer life must be active and in full-effect. For those of you who don't know where to start, it's okay and understandable. Try asking for help out loud: "Lord, I want to pray and connect with you today, but I am not sure how. Could you please send your Spirit to help me"? He is sure to answer.
Keep that line of communication open and allow yourself to push into God so that He can pour into you. This phase of leveling up lasts for the rest of your life so enjoy every powerful moment of it!
