A Week of Thanks Day 2: Strength
Monday, November 25, 2019
In periods of trials, it is the strength that we are graced with that keeps us going.
When we are really going through it, it doesn't feel like we are actually that strong. We may feel weak, tired, or somewhat void of hope or energy. When times get particularly bad, we feel like we can't go on. What is crazy about these moments is that after we've passed through them, we are able to gain an understand of how strong we are. Coming out on the other side is no small task. It requires getting up over and over again despite the situation looking like it will never change. Getting out of bed to work, live, set goals, aim to achieve- all while being faced with opposition is a routine of champions. This year, I am grateful for strength.
His grace is sufficient for me- II Corinthians 12:9.
